Day 1 – Paris – Airport pick-up
On the first day we will pick you up from the airport and provide accomodation and time for rest. Paris has a well-deserved reputation of being the most beautiful and romantic of all cities in the world, full of historic associations and remaining vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design all over the world. In the evening we will take a cruise on the Seine River during which we will have an opportunity to admire the city view from the other perspective and see it full of glittering city lights. You will receive dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 2 - Paris
After breakfast we will start our sightseeing tour in Paris and we will see the most famous highlights: one of the main symbols of France, the Eiffel Tower, from second floor of this amazing structure we will be able to admire the city view. We will also take the Seine River Cruise which will give us an opportunity to see city from a different perspective. Afterwards, we will visit gothic Notre Dame Cathedral and we will see the amazing Arc of Triumph. We will also have some time for shopping at Champs-Elysees which is widely regarded as one of the most recognisable avenues in the world. Next, we will visit the Louvre (Museu du Louvre), known as one of the largest museums in the world which houses valuable masterpieces of painting and sculpture. We will see numerous works gathered in this former royal palace, including Mona Lisa, Nike from Samothrace, Venus from Milo. At the end of the day, we will walk around the Montmartre district, where we will have a chance to see Place Pigalle, Sacre Coeur Basilica and Place Blanche from the Moulin Rouge, the world-famous cabaret where cancan was born. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel in Paris will be provided.
Day 3 – Paris – Versailles – castles – Tours (280 km – 3 hours 30 minutes)
After breakfast we will visit Versailles, an impressive palace complex of King Louis the fourteenth where we will see the following tourist attractions: a collection of artworks in the royal chambers, a Mirror Hall and unique gardens by Andre le Notre. Soon after, we will depart towards the Loire Valley. Visiting the chateaux of the Loire: Chambord, Blois and Chenonceau. Chambord is the newest and most spectacular facility in the Loire Valley. The castle, which has never been completed, was originally constructed by King Francis the First of France. The designer of the building was probably Leonardo da Vinci. Chambord is the largest castle in the Loire Valley. After visiting the castle, you will have a chance to try and buy famous wines from the Loire Valley. The Royal Château de Blois, the favorite residence of French kings which witnessed numerous court intrigues was being built between the thirteenth century till the times of the French Revolution. Chenonceau is located on the Cher River. It is regarded as one of the most picturesque castles and called the "Lady Castle". We will have dinner and spend an overnight in Tours.
Day 4 – Tours – Bordeaux (350 km – 5 hours)
After breakfast we will begin the day with vistinig the city centre of Tours. We will head for such tourist attractoins as Cathedral and Place de Plumereau which is in the center of one of the largest conservation areas in Europe with its Renaissance mansions visually enriched with sculpted reliefs and cantilevered timber houses still untouched after hundreds of years. After our transfer to Bordeaux we will see Gambetta Square, Grand Theater, a prototype of Paris theaters, Esplanade des Quinconces and Place de Bourse. In the evening we will have a unique opportunity to try the most famous French wine in one of the wineries. Dinner and an overnight stay in hotel will end the day.
Day 5 – Bordeaux – Lourdes - Andorra (540 km – 8 hours)
After breakfast we will start our trip to Andorra, a small, mountainous country in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain. On the way we will stop in Lourdes, where we will visit The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, a global centre of Marian pilgrimage, receiving hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Many Catholics believe that the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared 18 times at the Grotto to a young girl, St Bernadette Soubirous. Dinner and an overnight stay in hotel will end the day.
Day 6 – Andorra – Montserrat – Barcelona (220 km – 3 hours 30 minutes)
After breakfast we will drive through Andorra via a stunning high mountain passes and we will take a break in a beautiful mountain valley. Then, we will visit Montserrat with its breath-taking views, picturesque landscapes and amazing rock formations of unparalleled shapes. We will admire the view after climbing an amazing hill. At an altitude of 720 meters we will visit Benedictine monastery which was built after a miracle when the Mother of God was found there. Inside the monastery you will have a unique chance to listen to Escolania, oldest boy choir in Europe. After visiting Montserrat we will continue our journey to Barcelona. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel will end the day.
Day 7 – Barcelona
After breakfast, we will start our city tour in Barcelona - Gaudi's city. This beautiful city is full of what European cities are known for outdoor markets, restaurants, shops, museums and churches. In the program of visiting the capital of Catalonia we placed: Sagrada Familla - the most famous work of Antonio Gaudi and the tenement houses he designed: Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, which are located on the most famous and luxurious street of Barcelona - Passeig de Gracia. The next points of our visit are: Barri Gothic (Gothic Quarter), the most famous promenade - Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya, Piazza di Spagna and Montjuic Hill, from where the beautiful panorama of Barcelona stretches. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 8 – Barcelona – Tossa De Mar – Montpellier (400 km – 6 hours)
After breakfast we will visit Tossa De Mar a small, beautifully situated old fishing village, which, due to the preservation of its original character, is considered a pearl of the Costa Brava. Then we will transfer to the Montpellier where we will see the most important highlights in the city such a: Triumphal Arch, Montpellier Cathedral, Promenade de Peyrou, Pavillon Populaire. Dinner and overnight in Montpellier.
Day 9 – Montpellier – Cannes (300 km – 4 hours 30 minutes)
After breakfast, transfer to Cannes – glamorous and expensive seaside town considered to be one of the social hubs of Europe. City of the international film festival during which fans can see actors, celebrities, and directors up close and in person on the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals at the end of La Croisette. Nightlife, casinos and high end restaurants give Cannes a feel of exclusivity. In Cannes we will take a walk at Le Suquet - with its cobbled streets and breathtaking views, from there we can watch up and down the lovely marina. Dinner and overnight I hotel nearby Cannes.
Day 10 – Cannes - Monte Carlo – Avignon (280 km – 4 hours)
After breakfast, transfer to gorgeous and glittering Monaco - tiny royal principality on the French Riviera. Less than two square kilometers in size, it is perhaps the most glamorous little stretch of land on the planet. There is a seductive quality to the scenery, with its deep blue sea, graceful palm trees, and vibrant flowers. Full of charming, narrow streets, Monaco-Ville dates back to the 13th century when the principality was founded. In Monte Carlo we will take a walk along the coastal Avenue Saint-Martin, feauturing some beautiful cliff-side gardens and Monaco Cathedral, which was built in the late 19th century, and was where Princess Grace and Prince Ranier married. It is also where Grace and many of the other Grimaldis are buried. We will also see The Palais du Prince (Prince's Palace) and we will also admire many super-yachts and cruise ships at Monte Carlo harbour from which we will be also able to see the most famous Casino de Paris. After city tour in Monaco we will continue our trip to Avignon - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the Palais de Papes witch was the residence of seven Popes from 1309 to 1377 and is a testimony to the wealth and power of Christendom during the Middle Ages. Dinner and overnight in Avignon.
Day 11 – Avignon – Gordes – Lyon (310 km – 4 hours)
After breakfast we will drive to Abbaye de Sénanque the Cistercian abbey in Provence known for outstanding monuments of Roman architecture and famous for the surrounding fields of lavender cultivated by monks. Then, we will head for Lyon where we will take the city-boat tour and have a chance to look at a wonderful city panorama from the Rhone and Saone River. On the boat dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 12 – Lyon – Paris airport (470 km – 7 hours)
We will start the day with breakfast at the hotel and a transfer to Paris Airport according to your flight schedule.
